Mike Zambidis was the last greek athlete to fight for K-1 in Japan back in 2010 when he had the chance to meet Giorgio Petrosyan.
Now, after nearly seven years a Greek fighter will make again his appearance in Japan under the banner of K-1 for the first time.
He is Stauros Exakoustidis who will take over Japanese champion Taiga at 60 kg in September 18th.
Exakoustidis is top greek fighter and has big matches abroad not only in Europe but also the last year in China for 'Glory of Heroes' and 'WFL'.
This is a big opportunity for him to show his skills also in the big stage of K-1 .
